Congratulations to Acorn Engineering Group and AIS BMS who were both presented with Green Apple awards on Monday 6th November at a ceremony hosted in the Houses of Parliament.
The presentation ceremony was hosted by Roger Wolens, the Green Apple founder and organiser and the trophies were presented by Alderman Michael Cooke, in recognition of the 20 years that he has spent as Master of Ceremonies for the Green Apple Environment Awards.
Acorn Engineering Group were proud to be presented with the Green Champion Winner of the Services Industry Carbon Reduction category. The award was received for their Carbon Reduction project which is to reduce Carbon Reduction annually by at least 5%. Our submission was top of the league and managed to beat off the other competition in our group.
We were extremely proud to be chosen as a category champion amongst the other winners on the night, including JLL, Savills, CBRE, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Johnson Mathey and Bywaters.
AIS BMS walked away with a Silver Winner Green Apple award for the Services Industry Energy Management category. The submission focused on Project Dashwood House, the joint project with NG Bailey. The project was based around a ground breaking energy reduction pilot scheme across six prestigious London buildings owned by Land Securities.
