While the circumstances around the COVID-19 outbreak are constantly changing, our resolve and commitment remains unchanged. We will always use all our knowledge, experience, and resources to maximise safety and minimise disruption for our customers and employees. We want to assure you that we are taking the necessary and recommended measures to keep our employees, customers, subcontractors and the public safe. We are following the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), UK Government and HSE advice, and will continue to monitor, evaluate, and respond accordingly in an effort to safely manage this evolving situation.
We understand that we are a service organisation, and we provide these services predominately on our customer’s sites. Therefore, we have updated our formal safety protocols to include:
- Monitoring our staff for symptoms and enforcing government guidelines on isolation if required.
- Discussing entry requirements to our customers premises to reduce interaction.
- Training and advising our staff on personal hygiene measure when entering / leaving customer premises.
- Provide continued guidance for safe working practices, reporting protocol and review of risk assessments when required
All Acorn personnel have been briefed on our internal policies and Covid-19 Risk Assessment. All our staff have appropriate PPE for the situation in which they are working. Our intention is to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all of our staff and visitors, as well as the facilities you have entrusted to us.
