Acorn employees spent Friday 16th December celebrating Christmas, having fun and raising money for charity.
Everyone at Acorn House proudly donned their best Christmas jumpers for the national Christmas Jumper Day, whilst raising fund for Save the Children.
There was a tasty buffet, a Christmas quiz, a king and queen voted for the best Christmas Jumpers and a Secret Santa. Everyone also went to great efforts to decorate their desks, Christmas style!
Everyone donated very generously and in total with Acorn matching the funds, we managed to raise £203.46.
Over the past month, our employees have also very generously donated food items and clothes which were passed onto the Brett Foundation, a local charity based in Maidenhead which helps out the homeless and less fortunate.
"As much as Christmas is a time to have fun and celebrate with your family, friends and colleagues, it is also a time to think about the less fortunate. So for us to be able to help two very special charities at this festive time is fantastic and a good way for us all to reflect on how lucky we are."
