Congratulations to our in-house BMS company, AIS BMS who were recently announced as winners of the PFM Partners in Sustainability award.
The PFM Awards recognise the excellent achievements that have been accomplished in the FM industry throughout the year.
Acorn Maintenance Engineering were also proud sponsors of the Partners in SME Organisations award.
The award ceremony took place on Wednesday 2nd November at the Brewery, Chiswell Street in London with over 600 people from the FM community attending.
The Partners in Sustainability category is for partnership where a significant part of the relationship is for energy management and monitoring, green energy generation, sustainable strategies in other facilities activities, and behaviour change within the organisation and the wider community.
"It is such an achievement and honour for AIS BMS to receive such a prestigious award and really highlights the fantastic work that we have been doing in partnership with NG Bailey."
Mike Witchell, Managing Director - AIS BMS
Our joint submission in partnership with NG Bailey was based around a ground breaking energy reduction pilot scheme across six prestigious London buildings owned by Land Securities. The project targets a 15% reduction in energy consumption compared to a 2014 baseline. The first of the Land Securities buildings to be used as a pilot was Dashwood House which the submission was based around.
"We have built strong relationships with the team at AIS BMS and they have worked well for us throughout this project. Overall, the results of the project are very encouraging, and working with AIS BMS has been an excellent experience.”
Chris Coath, Energy Manager - NG Bailey
