Christmas is all about giving and our employees have demonstrated this in their very generous donations to the Alexander Devine Hospice.
The Alexander Devine hospice is based in Maidenhead, Berkshire and it supports children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, along with their families throughout the area.
The hospice provides us with a Christmas Giving Tree which was covered with gift tags requesting a huge variety of toys and vouchers for children of all ages.
Over the last few weeks, our employees have been extremely kind and managed to tick a large number of the gifts off the tree.
Acorn were also very pleased to donate a cheque for the amount of £282.96 which had been collected in our Slough head office throughout the year.
‘It is an absolute pleasure to be able to help the Alexander Devine Hospice at this time of year again. They do such an amazing job at the centre and I am so pleased that our employees support our chosen charities and donate so generously.’
Jonathan Coiley - Managing Director
The toys were delivered to the hospice on Tuesday 4th December so there was time for them to be checked and wrapped before distribution by Father Christmas at the hospice’s Christmas party.
