Acorn manage the building engineering maintenance services contract for the Ark Academy in Wembley.
The school, which was established in 2008, is a coeducational all-through school with academy status based in Wembley, London.
Acorn has been managing the contract with Ark Academy since 2014. As part of the Building Engineering Maintenance Services contract, Acorn also complete an annual fume cupboard maintenance and an annual lightning protective and rain water management service.
In August, during the summer school holidays, the Academy has a complete power down to carry out any general maintenance work so as to keep disruption to a minimum during school term times.
The Academy recently held a Strictly Come Dancing event and discovered on the day it was being held their stage lighting was non operational. An Acorn engineer was straight to the Academy and repaired the lighting which resulted in the event going smoothly and being a great success.
